New Ammo Cans - Green and Tan

I ordered a tan and a green 3pack just to test the waters and see what the FAT50 looked like in person. I'm impressed, they're filled as well, will be ordering more in the future!

Fat 50's are the best size for my transporting needs...I can get my ammo and mags into them for range trips.
The M19 hold 5000 primers nicely, and the M2's hold surplus x39 boxes nicely.

Can anyone tell me how many boxes of PMC 45acp would those 3 boxes hold? Any of them would hold all 20 boxes of a case?

Also, a suggestion for canam: how about a large ammo storage that could lock? Not something to bring to the range, more like a box that could hold 4-5 cases of PMC. I'm currently in the market for that, and the best idea I've had so far is a Stack-On GCG-900 Steel Pistol/Ammo Cabinet, or some kind of contractor tool safe (some kind of metal box/chest that can be locked and that contractors leave at the construction site). Neither are really made to store ammos. Shipping those kind of boxes might be too expensive for the price of the product though.

Boxes? not a clue, but each M2A1 with my 45 ACP 230 grain reloads weighs in around 65 pounds (can included) :sok2. I just dump them in loose and by the the pound.

I believe the dimensions of each can are listed on the website though.
 
I got my M2A1 ammo cans last week. The finish is very nice, better than the ones made by "Blackhawk, Sportster" I got from B... Pro. Better because the finish seems harder and less prone to marking.

30 Cal holds 6 boxes


50 Cal Holds 10 Boxes


Fat50 Holds 17 Boxes


The Wolf reloads are in the same size boxes as my Norinco 45ACP and the American Eagle, so I am assuming PMC is the same? Also, ignore my messy gun cleaning table

Yeah, I have boxes of wolf and PMC, and they're roughly the same size. Wolf are a touch bigger but not much, like 2-3 millimetres.

I think I'll get the stack-on cabinet for storing ammos and a pack of these cans for carrying them to the range. Thanks a lot for the pics, helps more than dimensions to figure stuff up.
 
Did the price go up on the M2A1 pack of 12's ? they are now priced higher than the Fat fifty pack of 12 ...
I'd be interested in a 12 pack if they were the same cost as the Fatty's.

No the price was reduced on the PA108 since they sell much slower than the M2A1 and we are seeing a buildup in the warehouse.
 
If I want to buy a mega pack of ammo cans is there any way I can get 2 sets of each color instead of 4 sets of one color?
