They are rocking Aimpoint T2 with Aimpoint magnifier. Cool.

I notice that the distance between the magnifier and the T2 is pretty big. Is that the ideal gap to install them?

They can't put the magnifier that close to the sight because it is mounted on the factory twist mount. Technically you can but you won't be able to remove it by twisting.
