CSSA & CSAAA Join to start legal action- Ruger 10/22 mags

Having (FRAUD ALERT) for donations sure would speed things up on my end. Filling out forms on a phone is a pain in the butt.

I'm in. The RCMP needs a legal slap in the face so that they know that the days of criminalizing Canadians at will are over.

btw, I was a volunteer Auxiliary for the RCMP for five years and have a high regard for the regular members of the Force. But somewhere up the chain of command enforcement of the law is transformed into manufacture of regulation and those people are largely instruments of a self-issued agenda and/or political policy.

No. It shall not stand.

Joined CSSA & contributed!!
Let's be heard loud & clear!! If we don't, we leave the door open for this kind of BS to happen again and again!
If we stand united, the'll have no choice but to listen!

It's really interesting to me that all the info I find about this is on CGN. I updated some friends on this issue who have high cap mags and they had no idea. I would be willing to bet more than half of the people who own these mags have absolutely no idea they are in procession of a prohibited item. Just seems weird there can be such s big change and no real "announcement" from the RCMP.

My guess is far more than half have no idea.

The problem is that unless someone is active on a forum like this or a member of an association or club they won't have any clue. This is part of our problem. If there are over 2 million firearm owners in Canada yet our big associations represent only 80,000 or so how do we reach the other 1.8 million who have no clue. When I lived in northern ontario I had no clue that clubs existed. I just plinked and Hunted where permitted and went about my day. Organizations how do we reach them when none of the media will help?

Regarding the slamming of RCMP in general, I would agree that the vast majority of members are great and they have a tough job to do. I have a retired friend who was a member and all the members I have met have been excellent. I'm sure there are some problem people like any organization but I haven't come across them. Their boss though, seems to be pretty bad but I can't blame the members for that.

I don`t even own a 10/22, but if we don`t stop it here, where will it end !!!!!

I`m a member of CSSA and am donating $50 (wish I could afford more)

Bloody nonsense and pure crackpotism by the "goose steppers"
