Rubber hunting boots, what do you guys like?

If you can find them in Canada Lemigo boots. They are not cheap but I have had a pair for 5 years and they are warm, dry, durable and the best part is the pair weighs a couple ounces over a pound. Walk all day in these puppy's and and you never know they are there. Like hunting in slippers made from the same material as Crocs. Nice and tall for those wet spots as well

The wife always has trouble with rubber boots. CT green boots she would walk through a pair or two a year her feet are wide. Barn work and dog walking mostly and always had cold feet. She just about had a coronary when I bought her a pair of Lemigo's, when I got mine, for about $150, for barn boots, I was nuts she said. She now will not part with these boots for love nor money and after 5 years the liners need replacing but still warm and dry. She has now learned that good boots do make a difference.

I was skeptical at first about the wear but since they have seen just about everything I can throw at them they are still kicking and no holes. Found a Canadian seller

I really like Viking chainsaw boots. It's probably a bit over and beyond what you want. But if you do any chainsaw work, you gotta have a pair of these anyways. These boots have been the most comfortable of any I have had as they are fairly snug to your leg so you dont get the galoshing and boot burn of normal boots. Also these boots are still kicking after ten years and you couldn't tell they are that old.

http://www.baffin.com/product-p/23550000.htm they are heavy, but warm. i also wear these http://www.basspro.com/RedHead-Lifetime-Guarantee-AllPurpose-Wool-Socks-for-Men/product/34713/ sitting in my stand, i use to freeze my ass off before i got these. lets not forget that the baffins are still made in canada

I don't think any Baffins are made here anymore! I bought a pair of winter hiking boats a few years ago thinking I was supporting Canada and when I got home and checked the in side.........Made in China!!!!!

The Eva model by Naturmania (Nat's) are very nice and extremely light weight.

Update: They did not hold up very well. Nat's replaced them but the new version would not be my first pick.

There is only one kind of rubber boot to buy....LaCrosse...un-insulated (Grange) for Spring, insulated (Burly 1200) for Fall/Winter.

I don't know how anyone can wear those Cdn Tire- Green insulated boots.....they are sock eaters.

I refer the the Dunlop as ' Stovepipes' , because they are about that comfortable.
Soft toed Muck boots at home and steel toed ones at work...accept no substitutes.

i have these for fall/spring hunting
not sure of the cost of these here in canada.

I use the same boots w/5mm neoprene. Definitely too hot for any sort of warm weather use but have worn them in -35 and had toasty feet with a little bit of walking. I don't even know if you can get these boots in Canada and unfortunately they're well outside the op's budget (mine cost £180).

I use Lacrosse as they have held up well and are very nice to walk in. Some of the other brands mentioned here are meant for sitting or very little movement and I need boots that allow me to walk and/or sit comfortably.

CT cheapies for me, too. The pair I have now are pretty-much done after 5 seasons (and that includes a bunch of hard winter hunting through till April most years). One has a hole and the liners are pretty worn out.

Time to spend another $29.99, I guess. :)

Lacrosse were certainly good few years ago. look how and where they are made now and report how long the new ones will last ...

New ones have held up just fine. Contrary to popular belief, China is capable of making good products. Lots of union made in America products aren't worth a sh*t either.

Lacrosse/Muck are probably two of the top hunting rubber boot maker and very well reviewed from most major retailers, ie. Cabelas, Bass Pro, Amazon.

Sorry guys but the cheap CT rubber boots just don't cut it for me. I walk to many miles and I do not find them comfortable enough with my flat feet. Only thing I use those boots for us shoveling snow in the winter.
