GTA Canadian Tire Stores that have SKS Rifles

As far as I know no CT stores in GTA carry firearms or ammo anymore. My guess CT around GTA stopped carrying firearms long time ago since most staff around here don't even realize that stores outside of GTA sell firearms and ammo... I asked around 3-4 stores. Got funny looks at every single one :)
Closest CT I know of that sells firearms is in Whitby.

P.S. Hell, bunch of stores in GTA have trigger locks locked in a cabinet with "special items". Last time I bought a trigger lock at Centerpoint location, one of CT sales assistants carried the lock to cash register and gave it to me only I paid for the thing, apparently as per CT policy.

Yup, pretty safe to assume that GTA stores have stopped carrying firearms. Lets concentrate on CT stores that do carry firearms specifically SKS'

Georgetown so far seems to be the closest in the west end :)

Georgetown has a few SKS rifles.

$229.00 for a not bad looking laminate stock there right now + couple others with standard and upgraded stocks for varied prices. One has a target stock. Too pricey for me though but I would consider the laminate, have not got one in my collection yet.

They are primarily at stores that are not built into a mall, and stand-alone building. That's why fairview in burlington has them versus other locations in the city.

I was told by someone at bass pro that they get harrassed by the city/toronto police constantly. He said that it's the reason why they don't carry handguns, a good selection of powders etc. He also said that they don't carry night vision because they were asked not to. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ can't believe everything you hear, but it was an interesting reaponse. I was told a similar thing by a canadian tire employee who works relatively high up the food chain.

Whitby and Bowmanville have SKS rifles, I'm not sure about the price. They're probably between 229$ and 199$. The best time to get an sks or surplus ammo is when a store opens up a new sportsmans section or if you use your CT MasterCard for everything they may send you and invite to a VIP event where everything in store is Tax free. I've scored to excellent shooter grade SKS from CT for 150$ each.

Confirmed, they have 5 laminate SKS rifles of varying years and condition (pretty good) and only one, I believe a 1950 was blued the rest had black BBQ paint which is typical.

The service there was fantasitic, no comparison to other retailers I have been to (excluding Tenda).

Note they also have hardwood SKS rifles, Mosins, a K98 mauser (Nazi markings I believe) as well as an Yugo Zastava M48 in the display, maybe one day I'll pull the trigger on a K98 :)

Thumbs up for Georgetown CT if you are GTA west end. I will pop into Burlington, Aliston, etc. at some point to check out their stock.

The canadian tire in georgetown(not milton) has firearms!
The mavis/dundas location does have ammo

I've never been so glad to be so far away from Toronto. Praise be to Calgary.
