I'm having trouble locating liquid lanolin . Does anybody know what stores actually have this in stock ? or who carries it? I know its on Amazon , and orderable through the mail.
Walmart US has it listed on their website , but Walmart Ca. does not. I tried them anyway today with no luck. I tried 3 local drugstores . There is no health food store here in my town to try. I guess I may have to go the Amazon route !

pretty sure well.ca is where I found liquid lanolin w/decent shipping charges too.

I've used them for other products, great company.
 
Most hippie holistic organic health type stores can/will order it in for you, but Amazon is much less expensive.

I assume that the liquid lanolin is for chapped lips and wind burned skin, here is the product description from walmart:

so a baby can "eat it" and moms nips aren't going to be sore and raw, plus it is "100% natural single ingredient product" why wouldn't this product work on your other parts as well??

plus I stand by my udder butter comment since i have used it for all kinds of abrasions, burns and irritations on my skin all over my body, it works. However it has a weird smell (from the petroleum jelly?) so on lips i am not so sure, but it works, its composed of lanolin and petroleum jelly base and 8-hydroxyquinoline sulfate .3% (anticeptic).

but if it is going to be used for something else say as gun oil, well then the Walmart stuff if 100% lanolin and would just need to be warmed to make liquid.

Fluid Film is lanolin-based and comes in a convenient spray can. I don't know if it would fit your needs but I use it for all sorts of stuff.
 
I once asked a pharmacist who I had a talking aquatence with if he had lanolin. He said, "Sure, its what women use to keep their nipples soft." I told him what I wanted it for and he just reached for a little jar and filled it for me, on the house.
It is not liquid, it is about like Vaseline in thickness, only much more sticky.
It originates from wool and is the reason that pure, natural wool sweaters shed the rain and snow so good.
 
I use Anhydrous Lanolin in bullet lube, it's about like vaseline in consistency. I wouldn't use the liquid Lanolin for that purpose.
