Got my IPA from London Drugs. I ordered the NOW 100% Pure Lanolin Lotion from Vitamart.ca. It's more like coconut oil, it's not liquid at colder temperatures, it's creamy. Once warmed up it liquefies, that's when I mix it with the IPA.

Yep . Shoppers Drug Mart done the trick. Instead of driving around more and looking on the shelves, I just called them. Although they didn't have any in stock, the pharmacist said she'd order some. She took my name and phone number , and said she'd call me when it was in. Probably on Monday , and this is Friday . Can't ask for better service than that !

99% isopropyl alcohol is easy enough to get (if the pharmacy doesn't have it on the shelves, they probably have it behind the counter) that it is worth using over methanol, which is pretty toxic stuff.

May I suggest trying castor oil for lube?
Most pharmacies have it and a little goes a long way.
Results might pleasantly surprise you, just don't lick your fingers untill you wash your hands.
