Probably, but I believe the Ruger Redhawk is the only revolver that will handle this load without...complications.

It is the 340gr +p+ the you can't shoot in the Smiths. The 305gr shouldn't be a problem. That said, a couple cylinders of basic federal 240gr AE out of the short 629 is about as much fun as I can handle.

Could you confirm that the 150 gr 308 win load is with Barnes TTSX bullet - the overview sounds like a 150 gr soft point?

yes it was incorrect...it was the TTSX bullet 100%!

Darn on thr price. Would really love to try this but can't bring myself to but it when you can make the same loads for a fraction of the price. Wish BB would lower their prices for Wanstalls as I am sure theybsell it as a 'premium' ammo with huge profit margins.
