Just went through this thread...kudos to you Mr. Friendly to follow through even after all that happened....sometimes live goes places you can't control and you just deal with it. Remember the road to hell is paved with good intentions...I applaud you staying cool through out all of this.
 
I've been in a similar situation and find that the people who complain on forums generally never acknowledge any mistake on their part (spam folder email, not replying in time etc). Also when the transaction is complete very few people acknowledge the fact, which makes the organizer look like a scammer.
Kudos to Mr Friendly for keeping calm and the few buyers who have acknowledged the completed deal.

+1...good rule in life...If you are going to complain about the bad...acknowledge the good as well.
 
I was not involved in this group buy, but I have read the thread and ...wow!
I am glad that Mr. Friendly persevered through it all and everyone got their ammo.
It all ended well...could have turned very nasty though.
Going by Mr. Friendly's experience, I am definitely NOT going to be organizing any group buys in the future....
