4451 copper fouling removal

I imagine it would be a hard sell.... reloading powder that dissolves your brass cases from the inside out lol.
 
I have no experience with this but my guess is no. Apparently the copper removal comes from a trace of lead in the powder. As the powder is ignited and goes down the barrel, it takes out the copper. I wouldn't think it would do any harm to the brass.

The enduron powders are green powders so doubt there is lead in them
 
They use lead foil in artillery caliber as a decoppering agent so I suspect it's something similar in the grains.
Edit: In the grains they use bismuth.

Does it mean they use heavy metal to "Kick" the copper fouling out of the barrel?

I have some copper fouled batter and it was so hard to remove the copper. I want to remove them, copper stick to steel might cause bore pit.
 
Perhaps this is a nuance, but I understand that the powder doesn't remove copper fouling, its use leads to less copper fouling being deposited.
 
Get some wipeout foaming copper remover or some otis o12 copper remover. Stuff works and is not hard on the bore.
 
Is anyone using it and liking this powder?

The newest powder I use is XBR 8208 which I started loading 223 a few years ago.

I think 8208 is great in 223, as is BLC2 and Varget, but I would not mind trying one of these new powders if someone gives me a push.

Talked to a few guys that love the enduron powders. I would like to try 4451 but at $60 a pound plus tax no thank you. I can get h4350 for $370 shipped for an 8 pound can. Unless the price comes down $15-20 per pound of enduron I'll stick with h4350
