I have a Beretta 92 FS Inox that is bone stock. I would like to have some trigger work done so the take up will be shortened on it also clean it up and maybe lighten trigger pull in both da and sa. What recomendations would you guys have for me?

Brownells, short reach steel trigger from Wilson Combat and a "D" hammer spring. Done that to my SF. Pretty easy to do yourself.

The D spring (16lb) makes a noticeable difference but if you reload and can use Federal primers a 12lb is available from Wilson and a 13lb is available from Wolff. Also if your not using it in competitions that have rules about aftermarket parts, a sear is available from Cylinder and Slide that I am told will reduce the SA even more. The Wilson short reach trigger and a skeletonized elite model hammer will also make a subtle difference. Lighter trigger springs can also be found but make very little difference on trigger pull and cause the trigger reset to be slower.

and when you are ordering those parts from Brownells, grab the skeleton hammer and the flat mainspring cap also

mods that are subtle but stylish

The d spring swap made a slight difference. But you very rarely shoot it in double action. I've had mine for almost 2 years and the only time I double action shoot it is when I intentionally want to do so. Up to you though, it's your gun.

The lighter hammer spring not only changes the DA it also reduces the pressure the hammer puts on the sear which will also reduce the pressure needed to activate the trigger in SA. It will also reduce the amount of force needed to #### the hammer when the slide cycles which will reduce some of the felt recoil and reduce the time it take the slide to cycle.

Are there any Canadian sponsors that sell the d spring? I searched but did not find any, or should I suck it up and just order from Brownells.
Cut 3 1/2 to 4 coils of you factory spring and your good to go, i have done a couple that way before i got some D springs, super easy, i havnt even changed them out for a D spring yet. no issues with light strikes with CCI primers so far, not sure where the cup hardness with CCI sits compared to other brands though. PM me if you would like to know the overall length of a D spring

Is it really that bad? Shipping is less from Brownells than most Canadian retailers. A whole whopping $10 for small parts.

Only if you pick the right shipping method! Been burnt more than a few time with Brownell's shipping.
