What colour do i get my tavor cerakoted?!

I like the green color you can get with the American Tavors too bad we can't buy them that color up here :(

Have IRUNGUNS import one for you.

Have IRUNGUNS import one for you.

it is restricted
no spare barrels in canada for nr conversion, you would need one made by herron
if it is restricted kinda defeats the point of owning a tavor
best to get a regular tavor here and get it painted green

I've always thought the classiest looking colour combination was TV-PressPass' two-tone Tavor, with factory black and greenish-grey.

How about H126Q - DeWalt Yellow. It would be odd - but cool odd.

Replace the tan on the lower with DeWalt Yellow or White, would be interesting I think.

The other option would be hydro dipping it in a camo pattern, think ATACS or Kryptek.

Am I the only person who thinks its utterly stupid to diminish your resale value by *paying* for *custom* paint when you dont even know what you want? Why ? Because you're bored?

everyone needs projects, who are we to judge?
their gun, their money, their choices.
my gun, my money, my choices.

I think it is kind of funny that so many people think professional refinishing diminishes the value.

Unless it's a very odd modification it will not diminish the value, rather just limit the amount of perspective buyers. I have seen professionally cerakoted rifles actually bring a premium.

I just re-read the OP's original post and missed the fact that it's FDE already. I would be tempted to still go with the TVPP two-tone look I mentioned above but keep the factory FDE on the lower half--it's where the finish would show wear first from mag inserts and whatnot.

I'm guessing that the factory FDE is not a coating but the actual colour of the polymer, right? So any scuffs from use wouldn't show through the finish.

Yeah, so I'd say keep the FDE on the bottom half and go with maybe black, or dark brown or olive on the top half.

i wouldn't be putting money into a gun i plan on selling... anything else?

He asked for help and opinions, not criticism.....

I get bored, and I do projects, and often times some pretty cool sh!t comes out of them.

Without dreamers there is never innovation.

Blaze orange muzzle device like a toy gun and paint the upper flat green. Would be a nice two-tone look with a safety muzzle. Best part is the muzzle device is cheap and easy to swap out later.
