So, which is your most fun to shoot rimfire? A lever, a pump, bolt, semi or otherwise, which one do you find you spend the most time shooting and enjoy the most?

I've got a bolt action lake field which sits in an evolution SS Boyd's stock, a .17WSM in a knock off AICS folding stock with a Millet LRS and an old Winchester pump, to be honest,
I kinda like shooting the winny the most, although not quite as accurate as the other two on gophers, and I'm starting to think I might like shooting a lever even more. The lake field and savage look awesome and I really like them but the pump is just more fun to shoot for some reason.

I like rifles obviously, but I don't want anything that sits in a safe and isn't enjoyed, I have a couple rifles that aren't used much and will probably be sold within the next year for this reason.

So to help me figure out if I should consider buying another, what's your most fun to shoot, not your purtiest one, but the "deuce deuce" you use the most, and what do you shoot with it?

Pictures are welcome of course!

I have an old francotte martini sporting rifle in 22lr,it has a 26 in ovate barrel with express sights and I love shooting the little thing. It is a joy to carry and comes up to the shoulder naturally, after I love shooting my Springfield m6 scout

Still enjoy my old Winchester 69A's.
Mind you, this last Awwwnrie H001 has cawt me t'enshun.
Mag tube sucks for quadding grouwzies though.

Mine has to be my Savage MKii G. It's not fancy, but with the new bottom iron I had made for it, and the action screws properly torqued down, it's accurate enough for me and it's pleasant to shoot. Just needs new rings if I remember correctly.

i have an extreme range of rifles, starting at a chiappa little badger right up to a kimber 300 winmag

and my favourite seems silly, but its my chiappa little badger and my 357, those two get more range time then anything else i own by a long shot.lol

My Henry lever, well, my sons Henry lever.
It's the gun that all the newbs I've ever taken out, have always gone back to. "Can I try that one again", It's so common, it's predictable.
It's a fun gun.

What rifle is the .357? Do you shoot .38's in it as well? Pondered a lever .357 myself, but I think I might go for a .44 magnum (should handle .44 S&W as well).

Thanks for posting your faves so far, had to google a few, and good to hear about the Henry, I see a few in the EE right now actually.

oops, sorry, its a pistol.. forgot that word haha,
my buddy has a henry i think in 357, sweet gun, dont think hes done 38 in it though, i`ll have to ask him when hes out of camp next though

My Papoose.

If I know I'm going to the range or the gopher patch, I'll pick something else out of the cabinet.

But life is uncertain, and my Papoose, taken down and in its carry bag, lives in my trunk 24/7. It's decently accurate, dead reliable (which it really shouldn't be, considering how much it gets shot and I've never once cleaned it), and it's always with me.

Much fun plinking and varminting has been had, just because that gun is always there.

i may get flamed for this but i really enjoy my little mossberg 702 plinkster tactical.
cheap to buy, cheap to shoot and reliable.
i bought it for my kids but find i shoot it more than they do, always comes to the range or up the mountain.

Can you post pictures of the bottom metal that you had made? I'm curious to see it. Thanks!

Little badger is the best $200 I've ever spent on a rifle. Very fun and everyone enjoys shooting it.
