baikal 7.62x39

EE and auctions are your only bets. Baikal is on the verbotten list due to sanctions against Russia. It took a couple years for all the Baikal's already in Canada to work their way through the retail chain, but they're pretty much dried up and gone for now.

Cabelas in barrie has one in the gun library. It is synthetic stocked and has the spiral looking barrel. It was there Friday night when I rolled thru. I can't recall the price. I was trying to talk myself out of the Kimber in the display case

I have one sitting in my safe, rarely ever shoot it.
Probably 10 rounds since new.
Have been thinking of selling it or it's Brother in .308.
If one was to sell it, what price range do folks think it would fetch ??

While they were still being imported, they'd go for about $300 used. The 7.62X39 was more common than the 7.62X54 and that was a factor as well.

At this point, it depends on how badly someone wants one, but $500 might not be out of the question, yet we have this: http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/foru...34-Baikal-IZH-18-7-62x39-400?highlight=baikal

$400 and no apparent movement. I have learned that responding to WTB ads is pointless. What most folks posting them want is a firearm, but dirt cheap.

My add, I've had lots of offers from Alberta west. As the add says, I am not really interested in shipping it I'd just prefer cash in hand unless trading for something.
