Hey guys it is time to add another pony in the stable. What would be your pick for a versatile, hunting rifle for B.C.

A few parameters. Budget at or below 1200 for rifle. Light is ideal. In a calibre that is easy to find reloading components for.

AAAAAAND GO!

Settled on a Remington model seven in 7mm08. Now, your ideal hunting cartridge. Aaaaand go.

There is no one gun that will do grizzlies to rabbits. One day we will be able to set stun/kill level but not today.
Haha, you saved my post.
BC has the widest span of game, from grizzlies to rabbits. So anything below 30-06 is not an all around BC hunting rifle. 9.3x62 can be comfortably used in anywhere in BC.

C-fbmi will claim that his 340 Weatherby is the one.

Sure there is! If i have learned anything on this forum it this; "It's all about shot placement."

Thanks for all the ideas guys. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with TC rifles. Cheap knock around gun under 700 bucks that shoots (sub) MOA guaranteed, pretty tempting.
