Derya MK10 VS 1919 Match,,, which is the best?????

I would take the mk10 all day long as a one time buy and don't open my wallet again.

1911 well if I want to spend $1100 on the gun then $1500 in parts it's the faster shooter and can be more versatile.

You're welcome, I have a couple earlier posts about it, incl. initial range report. Have only used it as a range toy and for some 3 gun matches. Did an initial breakin with heavy loads and it's been fine on any and all lighter loads I've used since.

I owned a fully done up MKA 1919 with all Tooth and Nail Armoury parts for a while. While the platform is well thought out and making the transition from an AR to this is pretty easy, the one thing I found that was a deal breaker for me (which was why I sold it) was the mag cap. It would be great if we didn't have our hand tied by our stupid laws, but it is what it is. These are great if we could run the big sticks during competition, but the 5rd mag thing gets old real fast as does having to carry 6-7 spare mags for a long stage. If the fools in power would trust us, you could most likely shoot a full stage with 1-2 mags. Wishfull thinking I know .

I have the 1919 and my favourite feature is that some other manual action shotgun magazines work in it well (save for bolt hold open) allowing legal use of 10 rounders. I can't say the same for the mk10 unless someone here can chime in.

Are the 10 round mags marked in some way saying what shotgun they are for? If there's no markings, using this 10 round mag in a semi 1919 is prohib. This isn't the same as a marked LAR pistol AR mag or a marked Beowulf mag. You'll have a hard time arguing in court the legality of a all metal unmarked 10 round mag in a semi auto shotgun regardless of which firearm it was designed for.

Do you know if the Derya cycle the cheep load (bird shoot)???

On 1919 the lower is in plastic im realy not sure!!

New models have alloy lower option:

OK.... care to chime in what manual action mags fit and function in the 1919?

I've owned an MK10 and I now own a 1919 Match with the aluminum lower. There is no question the 1919 is the better gun. The derya is fine, but the quality isn't the same. The 1919 match gen 2 with the metal lower is amazing.
My ONLY gripe is that it's not easy to remove the bolt. I haven't noticed it getting crazy dirty around the bolt so it won't have to come out often, and this one point wouldn't convince me to take the derya. The 1919 is worth the extra $$

The Rails on the receiver and handguard are the same height so you can use any iron or flip up sight you want. It has a forward mounted, side charging handle... which works awesome, it accepts regular Comm spec butt stocks, it accepts AR grips and some trigger parts. The chokes it comes with are actually 3 different chokes.
Lots of parts on the 1919 are metal where they are plastic on the Derya as well. The Derya sights are plastic, the stock adapter (fixed AND folding) are both plastic though the buffer tube is metal. The hand guard end cap is plastic.

Biggest problem with my Derya was wear between the upper and lower where the quick release pin held them together. It concerned me. The way the MKA is built, its harder to separate the upper and lower but there will never be ANY wear.

The older MKA models came with a polymer lower (the new one is available that way as well) which I didnt like and is why I bought the Derya in the first place. Now that you can order the 1919 Match with an aluminum lower, it was an easy decision to switch and I have no regrets at all. Only thing the Derya has that the 1919 doesnt is a sweet case. But the gun is more important than the fancy case IMO.
