School me on CZ rimfires

Has anyone have any issues with bolt? Sometimes when I pull the bolt on the sillouette and engage it. The firing pin doesn't pull back when I pull the bolt down to lock it. I would have to pull up the bold and close it to engage it

Thank you I will do that. Any opinions on timney triggers. I have one on my other cz lol and I looked up so yod addy and was thinking of taking the timney and replacing it with yodaddy. What do you guys think?

I have the YoDave - you can usually find someone selling them at any given gun show and avoid shipping costs.

Brought my trigger to a very crisp 3lbs - perfect for a field gun, IMHO. You can fiddle with it and go lighter for bench rest shooting.

The fixed barrel design would be more inherently accurate and robust.

What makes you think this is 100% true? yes both can shoot excellent but to say that the 452 is the best or both, I can prove you wrong.

There is a group in the USA who is showing that the CZ455 can shoot extremely well, So well that this group says buy a 455

I've been talking to & watching there matches for a while and these CZ455 can do wonders with the right trigger, ammo & optics.

Now I bought a 452 American a few weeks ago day only because new ones are hard to find. I'm still going to buy a CZ455 for a match rifle.

I'm only fighting myself to decide if I want to swap barrels on 1 action or have 2 different 455 rifles. this also means buying 2 scopes doing 2 trigger & bolt handle jobs and so on.

'looky has finally licked too much lead and completely gone over - he's arguing with himself in the forums.

I thought it was a reasonable question given the knowledge and experience of the other posters.
And I don't think it required a retarded response from him.
I have seen more common sense come out of a Juicy Fruit commercial.
Sorry guys, I'm out...

I just recently bought a BNIB CZ 455 heavy barrel on the EE. Put a Vortex 4X12 scope and mounted a bipod and it is already the most accurate .22 I have owned. I'm told after a few hundred rounds the trigger and bolt become smoother and the groups get tighter.

I sighted in at 50 yards using match ammo and was putting all five into a group the size of a twoonie, this gun shots better than I can

opps lost another one. LOL bye KEVAN

It kinda pisses me off that of all the CZ rimfire they make and importers and dealers don't bring all of them into Canada.
there are 3 guns offered in the CZ rimfire lineup and I haven't seen them here on this side of the border.

I think probably the American is the best all around style if you are using optics.
Lux model and Trainer model for irons.
Jay

Maybe I have a big head but I found the American had too high a comb for me to comfortably get behind my scope. I didn't want to mount it any higher so I tried a Lux and it fit beautifully with scope and irons. I much prefer the European stock to the American,

Try both

Patrick

If you are saying that there are only three CZ rimfire models available in Canada, a better look would reveal something else. New CZ 455 Varmint, American, Lux, Lux II, Jaguar, and Standard models are available, as are the CZ 452 Varmint, American, Lux, and Scout. These models are in Canada now. If I have misunderstood I apologize.

He said there are 3 guns offered that have never been seen in canada.
Whittakers in the US seems to be often mention has have special models available through only them.

Sorry guys I was out of country and couldn't reply until now.

I was saying that 3 CZ455 models I can't seem to get here are, Note: the forth model I wasn't interested in anyways.

CZ455 Varmint Precision Trainer Camo,
CZ455 Varmint Tacticool Suppressor-Ready, 16.5" threaded barrel
CZ455 Varmint with 16.5" threaded barrel bot shown on the web site but offered.
CZ455 American Synthetic Suppressor-Ready

I'm going to order one of these above but I have to off load one a couple of my own new CZ455 I have first. I'm going to have to pay a premium to get it on this side of the border

Look carefully at the barrel of your CZ-452 (and I'm assuming 455), and you'll notice a very slight imperfection near the tip, in the form of a perfect circle around the barrel, that was almost, but not quite, perfectly blended in with the rest of the barrel and bluing.

I noticed this on my 452 Lux, and have seen the same "ring" on other CZ's. My pet theory is that they make all their barrels threaded for suppressors, but thread a sleeve on, weld it in place, and blend it all in for markets where suppressors would be problematic.

The problem you are encountering is that the models you have listed are from CZ USA which is a seperare entity to CZUB (Czech Republic). All the official CZ product coming into Canada are coming from the Czech Republic. To find a full list of the products available Google czub.cz and follow the link, convert to English (or your preferred language) and "bobs your uncle"

If only there was some other muzzle devices we could use those threads for.

^^ You got it, :p ^^ you ever here of a muzzle break RabidM4U5 and for that I give you these :ang3 + :nest: + :stirthepot2:

I have looked a the (Czech Republic) site. they don't list some of these rifles. I just didn't think all the CZ's coming to Canada was from the (Czech Republic).

Odd though I bought a CZ455 combo from you guys (Wolverine) back in 2015 and my receiver is stamped made in (Czech Republic) and on the other side it says cz-usa Kansas city, KS. why would my rifle be stamped from both plants?

Just for the opportunity that you're here, why is the american profile .22wmr miniset(CZ1507300908805ND) more than the varmint profile .22wmr miniset(CZ1507300908821ND).
You get more barrel with the varmint, for $80 less.

If you can convince the RCMP to allow import of "suppressor ready" model rifles because you just want to put a muzzle brake on them then you'll earn my vote for Prime Minister of Canada! :d

If you feel the need to install a muzzle brake to tame the brutal, bone crunching, tooth rattling recoil of the mighty .22 LR..... well.....

All CZ's are made in Czechoslovakia, CZ-USA is only a warranty center/importer. US law requires imported guns to be marked with the name of the importer and the name of the city in which they are licensed. All guns imported by CZ-USA are marked with "CZ-USA" and "Kansas City". Looks like it was then imported from the US to Canada.
