I have a TOZ 99 semi-auto 22LR carbine. A really excellent quality carbine, very accurate, beats hands down the 10/22. Comes with two 10-rd and two 5-rd magazines. Looks like all TOZ (Tulskyi Orhuzhennyi Zavod) rifles are of excellent quality. Unfortunately, very rare in Canada at least now (trade sanctions on Russia).

What ya gettin at 100yds 3/8 to1/2 "

To tell you the truth, I haven't tried them on paper out to 100. It's now on my "to do" list.

At 50 yards, ya 1/2 inch with the blond. The red-head, when it was scoped, would nail grass hoppers at 25 to 50. It has shot said grass hoppers, rats, grouse, rabbits, porcupines and other vermin all the way up to a cow.

A fine couple of rifles, I still have the one my Dad bought me in 1977 as well, my first rifle, I think he paid 45.00 for it with two mags.
These are very accurate rifles, a little ruff but shoot like a damm.

Neat little rifles. Once used one in South Saskatchewan to ding a jackrabbit at about 180 yards.
Feed it the right ammo & these are very decent 22 carbines for the money spent IMO.

I have noticed that when they come up in the EE here that they don't stay for sale very long. I bought the blond in the EE. It was on for a bit because of missing a mag and rear sight. Good little shooter too.

The Red Head was a present from my dad in the 70s and my first firearm. Recently had a chance to get
one for my daughter.

My Friend's Mother is cleaning house after her Husbands recent passing, and has one to sell, v good condition, with mag T03-17 pre 1957. Anyone have any idea on value, her neighbor wants it but I do not want her to get ripped off for it... Thank you.

My guess would be around $150.00. I could be wrong, hopefully someone else will chime in.

The blond one I picked up a couple of springs ago for around $100.00 without rear sight or magazine.

They're fine shooting rifles, there's not much that'll compete with them accuracy-wise. The one I had would easily out shoot most CZs. A real nail driver. The average barrel quality is excellent IMO.
Price is subjective, as with any rifle no longer in production. It depends on how bad the buyer wants one, what kind of shape it's in, etc.
Like most ComBloc products, they're a little rough around the edges, but that doesn't seem to affect how well they shoot.
Mkrainc's price expectations would be about right, I think.
