Whats a NIB 590A1 14" worth?

Definitely too high. If you shop around you can pick up a brand new 18.5" or 20" with ghost ring sights for $600-700 and a full 14" kit for $350. Same price except you'd have the option of a full length and a shorty barrel.

I see people putting them up for around $750. What they get in the end, I don't know. I'm willing to bet the rare Modified barreled version would go for $1000, easily. Those were gone in a flash.

Don't think I'll ever sell mine, they're awesome.

I was making fun of a guy on here putting his up for $1500 or something... I know he still had it after 10 bumps.

The modified chokes are worth more? 99% mine is... How much more? Hmmmm

Before they were available for $600-$700 people were listing them for around $1000 when they popped up on the E.E. and if one got listed for close to $800 it didn't last long......it's just a matter of time and lack of availability that will push the price back up towards $1000.00.

When ever a deal comes along, people remember the deal price for far longer then the deal lasts......somehow sellers years later are still expected to price based on the one time deal otherwise people think they are gouging.

Actually it just a matter of time until cheap aftermarket Mossberg barrels hit the market.

Then the prices will go back down to where they belong.

Don't hold your breath.
The way Mossberg's mag tubes and barrel lugs differ between the different models does not make it easy or practical to do what you suggest.... most people will either pay more for a short mossberg or go with one of the many less expensive options from other brands available today.

They have whole 14" kits available. Not a cheap option though.

What , like a 15" barrel that would fit the 5 round mag tube on the 18" barreled 590's we have now , then no need to swap out anything but the barrel ?

I can't say more until it's officially released. But 15 inchers are definitely in the works.

A grand is way too much. If a 14" 590A1 is what you want and you're not in a rush keep an eye on the EE and you should be able to pick one up for around $750-800 if your patient.

I find the best deals pop up right after you've purchased one lol
