New Mossberg shorty shotty.

Are these from their website? I'm sure they'd be difficult to obtain again due to the short barrel length. Wouldn't be that popular unless they were shipped with a full stock to possibly make them NR too...

Interesting though.

Good luck getting these in Canada

Yes... if they could come with a full stock for NR status, I'm sure they'd sell very well. Again, there is a lot of trouble getting shorties from the US - they just don't want to ship them here. I'm sure in the form as pictured, they'd be fun as hell, but a torque wrench on the wrist. Would be wise to invest in a Shockwave grip.

I'm taking about the same gun as in the picture, ask the official Mossberg representative in Canada if they can get them.

I realize you want the Restricted versions to go with all your other ones, but the majority of Canadians won't buy a Restricted shotgun. I wouldn't buy one if I'm not able to use on the farm or in the bush.

I'm sure the 10.5" barrel with a regular stock would be NR as my 14" is around 31" with a stock and will still be NR with a Raptor grip. My 11" STF-12 was still NR with a few inches to spare.

You don't seem to understand, Mossberg will not sell these guns to other than law enforcement agencies, weither they have a full stock or a pistol grip it doesn't make a difference to them.

Canadian law as no meaning to them.

These guns will not be imported in Canada with a full stock or not.

Check my first post, these most likely will never make it here anyway... Or argue about the same point.

My other point is that 2 guys in the country want restricted shotguns so in that state they're useless to most, even though we most likely will never see them.

I don't really care since i have my own source to get these shotguns anyway .

And no these are not difficult to obtain due to barrel length.

Maybe the resident expert will talk in another full circle for us...

If you have a source, why don't you buy them and help some of the guys out that want them.

Yes i do have a source , and i do buy them, been buying them for a few years now.

But like you said, nobody is interested in these restricted shotguns so.....

A source for Restricted, a few would buy.

A source that would slap on full stocks for NR, a lot would buy, considering the hoopla the 14" created.

Post a pic and 'in action video' when you get one from your secret source. Your unwillingness to help the community says a lot. If you have a source, start up a group buy and I'm sure many will jump in, if there is a NR option. It really is only one bolt and a full stock to make it possible to take it anywhere you want (10.5" for sure, the other may be close).

If not, it's not a biggie because I already have a NR shorty in my collection, it looks like this one:
