Yeah, TI said they they would be visiting the factory to inspect the shipment...they haven't even done that yet, so it's very unlikely we'll have a Q3 delivery...they haven't even announced a date that they would be travelling to the factory...if they have a date, and are not telling us, then that's the kind of thing people are complaining about, and I don't blame them...I'm sure if there was anything to announce, they would have...so it's pretty safe to say there will be a delay...unless, like I said before they're saving it for a surprise, when we all get shipping confirmation.

They made no commitment nor do they have an reason or responsibility to give us a play-by-play status update. They set a target of Q3, 2016 and have stated that they are on track to meet that target. We don't need to know anything else.

1.1 Not a mention of firearms "retail" in post 738. Did the topic switch and I missed it? No bragging, just response to a statement. You can a feel free to make your own judgements, as may I. Maybe you joined this forum to make friends, I don't know. Whether or not anyone here likes me, really does not matter in my world. Roll your eyes, shake your heads, do whatever floats your boat.

1.2 #####ing? I provided a retailer feedback at to how I, a potential consumer of their product, currently views the existing scenario. This is their thread that they started. I know you (nor anyone else here) knows how often they check this thread. However, it is a thread they started. I am only on one other internet forum. There, when you start a thread, it seems generally as though you occasionally monitor it for the responses and feedback being posted by others, relative to the original post. I would have assumed that would be the case here, but checking out some of your posts, it appears I am in error. Apparently this is not the place to inquire on status of my purchase, from TI, or provide them feedback. Thank you for clarifying. I admit my error. I shall post no more on this thread, regarding the topic that it lists as a thread title.

2.1 I see no bashing anyone in my post which was meant to convey my current position and thoughts to a retailer of which we share a common matter of commerce (a purchase). I, personally, see nothing unreasonable or unrestrained in that post. I freely admit error in further responses about those chastising my position. Maybe not the best, however, again I freely admit I am not the most eloquent at expressing thought, especially when it comes down to typing and submitting on an internet forum. I often take long and deliberate time to respond to things, as to get my thoughts clear, first. I broke my own personal rule, and responded to some posts without allowing myself more time to digest the thoughts. But subsequent posts will not be the deciding factor in how I conduct my affairs, with the exception of those conveyed by TI, in this, their thread.

2.2 Oh, c'mon, you mean me!

Summation. This is a TI thread, that is why I am posting on this thread. I need to learn that when someone is posting about importing and customs, they actually mean retail business. I'll figure out the lingo, in time. In the meantime, my deepest apologies. I need to not post anything that may concern me, or indicate how I am feeling about a purchase, or inquire as to status, in a thread started by the retailer, about that purchase made by me. That is obviously the wrong place. I need to understand that feedback containing any critical thoughts, to a retailer, is a bad idea, even worse if it is posted in a forum thread which led you to decide to proceed with the original purchase. I need to realize that it is not reasonable to ask a question, or relay a concern, about when I might expect that my money invested some months ago is going to show a return.

Thank-you for the awesome education on how this whole internet forum thing works. My life is better because of that, I am sure.

Now, would you accept my humble request to point me to the part of the forum, for recovering crappy forum posters, like myself. I need to sign in to that section.

In the meantime, I'll just watch this thread from afar. I've polluted it too much, already.

Hi there first off I'm not saying tactical imports is reliable on pre order deadlines, I bought a rifle last year on pre order and it was on time. From what I've been reading on this thread a lot of you had a different experience. I've also bought a thermal sight from them and it came without the rail mount, when I called to tell them they were very helpful and apologetic and the part was shipped that day. I've also made changes to order's without any hassle. So I'm just going on previous dealings with them and in my opinion they were very good at customer service. I'm only posting this so people whose first time ordering don't get to scared when they read this thread.I want my rifle to be in q3 as bad as anyone, but stuff happens in the real world and i'm just glad I have the opportunity to purchase a rifle like this in canada that's non restricted. Thanks for your time to read my post

We needed some fresh positive dialogue.

Your last post was kind of long, but I got the gist of it. You basically admitted you were wrong and said something about me being awesome. Well, thanks! :)

Yes T.I we love you for what we've paid for in advance that you bring !!!! Now just givem an update already.

Fixed it for you...

The only way they could bring this in was through a pre order. To put the money up front in order to secure production.

So with that, we are equal partners in this venture. The pre sale buyers are the bank.

As equal partners, we should be informed as to were production currently sits. Or if production has even started. Or if TI is being kept in the dark by their chinese contacts and even they don't know.

So is there a set day for importation of those? I want to get one for myself and is it only going to be available for people who pre-paid?

Wow so you pre order and you wait for unlimited time. Sorry I am out I will wait until they import first batch.

Yes we are at the mercy of polytech building them, shipping them out and waiting for our customs to not twiddle their thumbs too much.

The bright side is that they have been approved already so no more waiting half a decade for the Firearms lab to finish twiddling their thumbs...

I think we will see them fairly soon, shouldn't be any world ending span of time.

This is exactly how this whole deal is going. The preorder money is going to finance the production and delivery with minimal risk to TI. So if TI doesn't have enough preorder money to start production?? More delays??

It's like they aren't allowed to contact the ppl manufacturing their product. It's bizarre, a little more than two weeks left in Q3 and there are no new updates to give. We know no more than we did in Q2. Saw this coming.

This is why I wait. I want to see the review on this if it comes in 2016 or 2017 I really don't care. TI has there modo for business I am not here to judge I just want to know when it will arrive.
