Does anyone else play with on of these, so far the only one I've seen is mine.
Even Google doesn't have much history on these such as what the three letters SHE represent ?
Actually I should shoot mine more than I do because it works so well but I would still like to know more about its history..

SHE is the arsenal it was manufactured at, there was two manufacturers, I am not sure which code aligned with which factory. Its been a while since I have done any research on them, and surprisingly when I started searching there seems to be less references available than when I originally did.

Exceptionally well made. Clever design. I bought mine a while ago. Examined it carefully...it was as issued... And so I just oiled it and put it in the safe.

I have one as well. It got a bit of work done before I bought it by a guy with access to a shop. Bipod, scope, new flash eliminator, and glass polished bolt. The bayonet can't fold out with the new eliminator, but I'm not planning any bayonet charges any time soon.

Just use good ammo in them. Americans have parts for the 52/57 guns There were not that many of them Allen
Lever brought them in. The spare magazines went to America!

I have shot a handful of deer with mine over the years. In my opinion the best Millsur in 7.62x39.

Rasheed wins accuracy and weight. But the 57 is far more reliable. But I still think the Rasheed is the most fun of the X39 guns I own, followed by the Cz858 and then the Vz52/57

I have spare mags, Stipper clips are far faster. Heck I had 4 spare mags at one point. but I got some PM's after posting that picture and helped out 2 CGNer's that didnt have any mags.

I agree on the stripper clips being faster. Not always easy to find but there out there. The 7.62x43 stripper clips will work in this rifle.

I use 7.62x45 Stripper Clips. I got them on EE at .25 cent each with a WTB add.

I think I have 50 or so now. They also work in my rasheed as well :)
