Picked up a Winchester 69a today at the Vernon Gun Show

Lately, I'very been playing around with my .22's at 200 yards. I cut out eight inch circles, using a pie plate, from black Bristol board and tape them to a large sheet of white paper. With my HB BSA model 12 martini, I've put ten shots into 4 & 3/4 inches at 200, with the iron sights. I just bought an International with irons and Unertl 12x, so life should get interesting. You have to get up early in the morning, as soon as the fog lifts and before the wind starts up.

Looks like another 69 in nice shape. We need a picture of the other side, swept back bolt or straight. Looks like someone DaT the receiver. How much $

It's a 69A. I've replaced the Lyman 57 sight with an NIB Redfield 70C, and will put a Lyman 17 globe on the front. I'll have to plug the scope mount screw holes. It cost me $260 with the Lyman sight.

It's an older version with the straight bolt and smooth trigger. Nice find.Once you have the Lyman 17 on the front it will have the same sights as mine. How is the trigger, mine is about 5lbs and needs some work.

It's pretty heavy and needs some work. I've been spoiled by my BSA's and Walther. Or, perhaps I'm getting frail in my old age.
