I have asked in a previous thread, and also by email...no response so i'll ask again..

If I buy some 45-70 brass will it be regular length brass...not Leverevolution brass...which is too short to reload, I don't want to buy a bunch of brass from you and toss half out because its polluted with leverevolution.

Sorry I didn't answer you before. We don't sort by head stamp.

As always - free freight on orders over $300 to most of Canada.
On this note - if you live in the Yukon or Northwest Territories we can ship non explosives to you through the post office. So brass, bullets, firearms, accessories.... Just not ammunition, primers or gun powder - these have to go through Canpar and it is terribly expensive.

I know lever revolution brass is shorter, but that doesn't make it un reloadable.

you are correct, is isn't "unreloadable" per say ....but, you do need to purchase a new special die to reload it properly...I don't want to buy another die just to reload 20 percent of the brass I might come across. I don't shoot or buy leverevolution anymore for that reason.

so I just want to make sure that 1/4 or more of the brass I pay for isn't junk (to me)

Very happy with my first order of brass. .45 ACP 1250 rounds and about 70% of it was mint federal. I ordered large pistol primer size and I only had 4 rounds mixed in that had small and 1 nickel case. Very good odds.

I will be ordering from western again.

It will be too short for the crimp die to actually make a crimp on the bullet. Something essential if loaded in a tubular magazine. You can reload the FTX bullets, but you would have to get a crimp die specifically made for the shorter brass. You could always grind a few thousanths of a inch from your standard crimp die to crimp the shorter brass.
