Hello,

I didn't see any reviews on the Tac-Ord versamax. I was wondering if people could comment on how well they like the tac-ord mods. And I am interested in both sides: whether you bought the full tac-ord versamax, or had your versamax worked on by Casey. I know Casey is a great guy and does great work, I just want to know if you feel the extras are worth the price?

I quad-load and from what I've heard, obviously an extended lifter is worth the cash, but what about opening the loading port and other work. It's not cheap, so thought I'd ask around and see what people think.

Thanks

I don't have the Tacord version but Casey did work on my Versamax before they started putting out the packages. I'm very pleased with his work. I'd be shocked if the Tacord Versamax wasn't outstanding. I've heard great things but never shot one.

As for your question about worth the price, I'd say definitely.

Has the mods made it easier to load? I saw a video where Taran Butler was talking about loading methods and he said that to get your quad-loads just right, you need to have the sg tuned. Port opened, extended loading gate, polished loading gate, etc. Would you guys with the mods done agree with that?

Casey and Peter work on my Benelli M4 I love it so much I just commisioned them to do their Versamax to match my Benelli and sold my Nighthawk custom 870, their work is top notch and defenitely worth the cost and wait.

Casey did enlarge the loading ports and all the works you mentioned is done on it an dit does make quad-loading a lot easier, it no longer pinches your digits

What did Casey do to your Benelli M4 ?

All the work he's done for me has been excellent.

Hi

1- Should I buy the Versamax Field version bcaus its shoots 3,5'' or the tactical version and then make TacOrd do the mods

2-And how much did the mods cost you guys and what it was done thanks

3- I wish I could buy the Versamax Competion in Cabelas in USA is 1400$ ;) but I guess here in Canada is not available right

Casey did my Versamax Tactical.. the milling and loading gate are top notch. He communicates very well and I didn't have to wait months to get it back. He did mine two years ago so you should ask what the current prices are.

Bought the tricked out package Versamax from Casey. Incredibly soft shooting. Luv it! Caseys price for Versamax was cheaper than elsewhere and thought prices for his custom work were pretty competitive. Took me 15 minutes to get the hang of duece loading and another 15 to get fairly competent with quad loading on the versamax.

Casey's incredibly easy to work with. Wouldn't even take a deposit from me. Said if I didn't want it when finished someone else would within short order. Don't overthink this. Just get it from Casey!

Visited the shop today and they have another couple of Versamax's lined up for production & ready for delivery shortly after.
