Hydro dipping

I've been thinking of getting my chassis hydrodipped to change up from the straight black, how well would it stand up to abuse from barricades and prs style shooting?

And does anyone know of a half decent place that would be able to do it? It'd be nice to get my whole gun done, chassis and magpul stock.

in edmonton liquid customs does a good job... they use a hardener meant for rifles. its about $300 ish to get an xcrm dipped.... the more pieces the more money

I would reccomend Broken Tine Customs in Cochrane Alberta. He does a great job and doesn't miss any little details that I have seen missed by other companies.

Used him to do my mountain rifle in kuiu vias turned out great. It will not stand barricade abuse. In my expeience. Nothing really does. Cerakote is the toughest but I can still mark it over the course of a match. Buy what you like the looks of and then wear the scratches as a badge of honor.
