optic clarity??

It's basically for load development,target shooting off the bench. 400 yards max. I know the 3-12 could possibly work for this but I like the extra mag.
And I don't like looking through a cloudy optic, kinda reminds of that Drinking and driving commercial ,where the glasses get stacked in front of one another.

I seen that and a 10-50 just popped up. But I'm getting tapped out on the cash flow, have to recoup a bit. I'll probably move the SHV over to the MV and look at one of those 8-32 for my Savage.

Hensoldt glass is premium stuff, have you compared your 72mm to a good 56mm?

Yes scope is brighter especially in low light but it is very top heavy for on a lighter gun. Stick with the 50-56mm objectives. BTW I like your scope

Ok thanks, I prefer a FFP anyways but that Hensoldt is pretty cool. I hope to see one some day.

I recently acquired a Hensolt 6-24x72 . It was optically sub par. I returned it and received a second one. Again it was sub standard . I would love to see a properly operating one. My S&B 5-25x56 PMII was brighter than either Hensolt and the TT is brighter than the S&B. The Hensoldt has the best eye box of any scope I have ever seen but the other optical properties were disappointing. It would seem since Zeiss sold them they have thrown QC out the window.
