Not sure I understand your meaning? It's great, but do not buy one? If sarcasm it's hard to catch sometimes communicating via text.

I'm interested in the Sig716 .308 with 12.5" barrel however was thinking of re-barreling the .308 DPMS Recon G2 to 12.5" or thereabouts instead from it's 16" SS factory barrel.

Could you please clarify lour position Lucsergerie, thanks.

I don't own a SIG 716, but I have another 12.5" 308.

It was a lot of fun to send big pills down range in a shorty, but the bullet path is like a rainbow and it is pretty impractical to use it to engage anything outside of 250m.

200m and under is fine for my useage. I like FA's that are a bit raucous... and a bit different.
