NEA billet upper

Hi I just unboxed a NEA flat side upper with no fwd assist I just attempted to slide in a CMMG .22 barrel no luck , so I tried a rainier 300 Black out no luck maybe with grease I might be able to get either barrel to fit the upper its clearly out industry spec I have a cerero key hole upper also both barrels fit perfectly to the tolerance I am used to .
Anyone eles experience this . I am suppose to receiver a NEA Barrel I hope it fits I can post pictures its clearly smaller than any other I have worked with I will measure when I get to the shop Maybe that is why there were on sale ? the actual upper is very nice billet

If I recall correctly, the spec dimension is 1.000" +-0.002"

With a little bit of lubrication its slid right in , very tight fit what a difference between it and a cerero or any others I have worked with but now that it fits I actually like the billet its very nice for the $ we will test it out and see how it performs
