lets see, from the picture I see a Dlask frame & barrel with a kid bolt & charging handle, looks like a Kidd trigger but not 100% sure as the Kidd mag release is in the way blocking the trigger guard?
and a Boyd's Pro Varmint Blaze. LOL :p its Monday Night, im feeling silly! :p ~~~~~ wayupnorth how you doing bud? how's your pistol looking?

yup yup, Dlask barrel and receiver and everything else is Kidd on a Boyd Stock.

and i refuse to look at my pistol, if i dont know if there is damage it dosnt exist right?
i refuse your reality and substitute it with my own.

on a related note, since we are talking about soft aluminum barrels....... i wonder how the new Ruger 10/22 Takedown LIGHT barrels are for softness..... hmmmmm

ok, finally went and checked the 22/45 Lite and its fine, no marks on the barrel face.
interesting find though.... the ejector is the exact one from the 10/22 and if im not mistaken so is the firing pin......
that surprised me.

im gonna take both apart side by side tomorrow when i get home from work and compare.
OCD for the win!
 
Hey guys where are the best places to purchase firearms in canada. Well i live in toronto so toronto would be good but im not opposed to ordering online!

I was at the range yesterday and was shooting an AR-15 .223 REM, GLOCK 17 9MM, RUGER SR-45 .45 AUTO and a FABARM SDASS TACTICAL 12 GAUGE!.......the 10/22 will feel like a cap gun now! Lol. Regardless im still going to buy it because my wife can shoot it! But im definietly buying something tactical chambered in .223 or .308

how many rounds through it? That would be interesting if it was the same, just hold a Kidd next to a factory one if you have a spare. Just think of the mods we could do. Muahahahahaha!!!!!! :p

Ok use EE it's like a store without sales tax, sometimes you get bonus items like extra parts & stuff or even problems.

maybe 1500?
it got back seated because my Benchmark shoots a lot better.
 
ok do you think there might be a future problem with the barrel? or do you think these will be fine? Also what is the verdict on the parts? Are they the same a the 10/22?
 
the firing pin is the same design just different size.
the ejector looks the same.

i dont think it will do any damage to the face, the firing pin on these hits 100% inside the shell, not half on the shell and half on the rim going over to the side.
so there would be no contact with the aluminum.

are you having dry fires or is the bolt holding open when mag is empty? what did you think of the videos I sent? I want to get this program going here on this side of the fence
 
the bolt holds open on last shot.

i actually sent that video to about a dozen people i know, we are all very interested in that, looks hella fun!

(now everyone is jealous that we are talking about stuff they have no idea what)

I talked to the guy who started it & running that program, he plans to franchise it so it's world wide. I think it's challenging and fun and is a good change from other programs.
The only problem in my area is finding a home, insurance fees & dues.
