Marstar rare TT-30 pistols

I would like one of these but not at that price. I don't know if they are as rare as their website says. From what I found about 93,000 were made.

When the TT33's were coming in from Ukraine, I hand picked several of these from the dealers and paid the regular TT-33 prices. I should have kept them so I could now undercut John at $850 each - lol.

No TT-30 is worth more than maybe $400 at most in today's market. These will sit for a while methinks.

I miss his witty banter :)

Like this ? ;)

Well another expert (224 posts) who obviously knows more that all here....
What the hell are you talking about, if you had any knowledge of this business you would know that we can sell the more desirable collectables off shore for more than in Canada....
Do you think this is Marstar's first deal ?? We began dealing behind the Iron Curtain in 1984....
It never ceases to amaze me how much expertize is out there.... Why aren't you importing and selling ??
John

Alot of people in this thread are mistaking TT30s for TT33s, TT30s are the earlier models and are much rarer than TT33s. That being said I don't trust marstar that much so im not interested.

Can I mount a high quality NCstar optic on it? How much further will the value then go up?

I can easily sell my no refurbished all original all matching including magazine tt-30 for more than twice of that. Just two or three phone calls and no ad on EE. But I won't.
True, most people in this thread won't tell difference between 30 and 33 and transitional 30, between refurbished or nonrefurd, between original or forced matcing numbers. But collector grade items were never intended for them. Nothing wrong to be happy with $199 sks and $199 tt33, but one has to acknowledge that out there there are $1.5k sks's and North of $2k tt's.

Having said that I have no trust in Marstar, I think they must get ahold of small batch or nonrefurbed pistols from Italy, dealer cherry picked Tt30s back in 90s. Most of them have mismatched parts, but indeed are 30s, or transitional 30s.

If I had an interest in a TT-30 I would be hesitant to buy from Marstar and now I would definitely not.

I also have unsubscribed to their newsletter.

This thread is no longer about the pistol - stay away from people's personal life even if you do not necessarily agree with or/and like their business practice.
