You just have to figure out the speed vs angle of your flags and your GTG. :)

EDIT: Staples laminates stuff pretty cheap if you have one of them around you.

The dope card pretty much covers the concepts well BUT the wind flag in that diagram must be made from Burlap... Flags move a whole lot more in the winds nowadays. Then there are variations in the size of flag, material and how "starchy" (ie dirty) they are so you have to calibrate for each range to visit.

The NRA has done a superb job of making this very consistent across the US wrt to major matches. You might want to get an image of that wind chart as most ranges are using something similar - nylon flags.

I am pretty sure more info is available if you google US Army Markmanship wind reading or something like that.

Another great resource is the book by Miller and Cunningham.

Looks good, I had my 10TR and SHV out , Wednesday , got some descent groups too.
Got another 60 rolled up for tomorrow .
The glass is awesome too, nice and clear.
At least now , I can see all the groups.
 
Hey I got a question that Im try to figure out right now.

I think Im going to play around and hold for wind using the reticle instead of dialing for it and I know its set at 20 power for that, but I also saw a video where a guy said that at 10 power its 2 MOA. So everything just doubles? Like now you have 40 MOA total hold for wind now? I know... silly question, but I just making sure. :)
