A question if I may,
Hopefully this type of question is allowed... if not let me know and I will delete
I have a older VZ58 I am looking to post but I have not seen them on the exchange for a while (in case I keep missing them) and am wondering what roughly was the last going value they were getting???
Mine is an NR '05 with low mileage (not part of the silly Prohib order) and will come with a bunch of extras. The extras I can deal with, but with all the new variants out there I am not sure what these old originals go for
I have a lot of accessories so it will be a local sale and I won't have to worry about shipping costs
anyways, if this question is allowed, any advice would be welcomed
I just don't want to price it out of reach or screw myself by under valuing
thank you for your time and consideration

i sold mine for 1000$ this week on ee and it sold fast. i had lots of offers cash and trade wise at that price. the msrp is 1400 not including tax so 1000$ seems very fair.

not sure about "old" ones you speak off

registration says CZ, when I bought it, it was known as VZ-58L
... they gave those rifles so many different names :) VZ, CZ, CZ858, CH2003 and I think there were a couple more :)
well, the extras I can deal with, it's just a rough estimate on the rifle I was looking for
the extras though are, folding stock (comes with real wood), 12 magazines (8 in pouches) (8x30, 2x10, 2x5), NEA upper, Polenar Fiber Optics, Polenar single mag carrier, optics side mount, ambi mag release, tactical bolt release, original maintenance/cleaning kit in canvas bag and some of the original parts and some odds and ends
... a lot of stuff hahaha

Just a piece of friendly advice, I would list it asap because when the new type 81 rifles come in the price for VZ's are going to drop

A norinco firearms won't drop the price of any other firearm. Most people that buy CZ858 do because of the brand, it's like the colt of the 7.62x39 world. If you handle and Cz858, CZ shadow line up or CZ 527 you'll see some serious quality at a fair price. CSA offers a 5 years warranty plus huge parts markets, norinco can't come close.

You can't even use the AK debate because forums all over the US show how the CZ/VZ is a better rifle. The best think that the T81 offers is another 7.62 for the collection, ill probably buy one once north sylva or canam brings them.
