Hey guys....just wondering if anyone knows where the newest line of Sig Sauer optics are made and who actually makes?

From what I've read, the Tango 4 is made in the Philippines. Couldn't find any info on where the rest are made.

Yeah it seems to be pretty hard to find much info on these optics. Reviews seem to be good, but no where can I find anything about where they are made, or who actually makes them for Sig anyways.

Yeah, I'd say Sig is doing a pretty sh!tty job promoting them, not to mention, they took over a year to start hitting the shelves. Makes you want to not risk dropping $$ on one.

Rumour has it the reddot sights are made by holosun so Chinese and there's also a rumour that Vortex manufactures their magnified optics.

I doubt the Vortex angle as they don't even manufacture their own scopes, other than the upcoming AMG model. From what i've read the Tango4 is from one of the Philippines manufacturers and the Tango6 is being made by LOW in Japan.

I contacted firearms outlet and they confirmed that the optics are in fact made in China. Doesn't make them crap, just makes them "made in China".

Looks an aweful lot like a Holosun.

I thought the higher end Tango 6 etc were US or European built? Aren't those priced right up there with NightForce? Gonna have to look that up again.

Edit: Found a forum where LibertyOptics retailer is a member. He said the Tango 4 are made in the Philippines and the Tango 6 are made in Japan.

That might be the case with some of their lower priced stuff, but as stated above the Tango4 and Tango6 are made in Philippines & Japan.

Looks decent but in another forum, one guy said his Nightforce was sharper/clearer. Others pointed out that Sig has a pretty crappy reputation for warranty. Are these covered by MD Charlton?

I got this exact scope.

Build quality and glass is amazing.

When we had Sig Day at our range this summer MD Charlton brought along a few Sig optics. They are the distributor in Canada so I think it would be safe to assume they would take care of warranties as well.

Yeah it sounds like all their optics are made in different countries/ factories. Depends what you buy. Sounds essentially like the way vortex runs things. Now I have no problem with "made in some Asian country" as long as its good quality. Im no optics snob. Saying that, one would assume a company like Sig Sauer (who has a very reputable name to uphold" would choose to have the optics built by an american or european plant.
