Just wondering if anybody has any experience with any of the aftermarket grips available for the P226. I have smaller hands and find that the stock grips are just a tad bit to big for me, mostly in the palm. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I own a P226 DE if that matters.

Thanks

For small hands, as said, the E2s work great. They aren't the only option though, I also like the Hogue aluminum side plates, and the Hogue G10 plates (piranha). Really depends on what you like, if you could try a few would be the best to see what you prefer.

I bought a set of Hogue Aluminum Grips in Silver for my P226 MK25. Worked well for reducing the size of the grip (I have small hands). Sold the gun, still have the grips (mine are matte aluminum checkered). Will sell if interested.

E2 for small hands.... I use hogue fat bastards..... Cause well sausage hands...

I liked the regular stock grips (Non-E2) and the E2 grips are good as well. I have large hands so it doesn't matter that much for me. My Sig Pro and P239 fit well for me (smaller grips) but I guess if you have small hands you are SOL with a 226/92/HK USP, etc.

I don't know what's involved in the swapping back and forth, I'm assuming the E2 isn't cheap.

I had issue with my pistol grip on my VZ58, just got an extended/thicker one and I'm good to go.

E2 grip kit is $95. It provides the smallest grip possible with the P226. The next smallest option are the slim aluminum grips and the SIG versions are $225.

Most comfortable grips I've tried on Sigs are the wooden Nils - very subtly shaped, palm curves in just the right place, surprisingly grippy, and seem made to order for my medium sized mitts. Stock on the 210, I was convinced to get another set for the X5; they're also made for most SIG models.

Those are just plain ###y....price point isn't an issue when you get those kind of lower mid body feelings......very ###y!! I like them Bill. Heavy sigh, I need to get a P210, and feel that slinky love feeling. Anybody got a 210 for a Python deal going!?

Does anybody know a dealer that has the 226 G10 grips in stock in canada ? Ive searched almost every dealer on the banner and cant find anything. I dont really care for the e2 grip.
