That is the best deal on 8mm Mauser that has been had in years. That is basically the cost of 7.62x54r when 8mm mauser generally runs at about 1$ or more a round. If you decide you don't want it, send it my way!

1400 rounds is a lot for a K98 mauser but not so much for a MG42... lol...you did good..

Even if it didn't fire that is still cheaper than buying 8mm projectiles, let alone loaded ammo. The OP could make his money back on just pulled bullets alone.

Hard to say, there is none (or next to none) available at the moment. I am sure .75+ cents is a pretty fair area considering that the cheapest new manufacture 8mm Mauser is 1.25+$

Its here and its turkish. This ammo came with the crate it was shipped in and its all really nice. The rounds stick to a magnet and are all in great shape. Each bandolier holds 70 rounds and i have a total of 1400 rounds

You could probably make some change selling the stripper clips as well after you go through the ammunition.

Remember it is not that this ammo is super hot, rather it is loaded to the WWI spec of 8mm Mauser. By that I mean a roughly 150grn bullet travelling at 2880ft/sec. Do not shoot this ammo through Gewehr 88s or other weaker actions or it might not be the best day for you.
