I have a stainless mkII variant 22/45 and had an identical blued version. Both 5.5" bull barrels. The rifling in the blued goes to the crown whereas the stainless barrel appears sleeved or counterbored around 3/8" in. Anybody know if this is a factory thing for the stainless barrel or perhaps a past repair to the crown. If it is a repair, whoever did it did an excellent job. Thanks
Crown measures 0.250" and smooth 0.810" in then ridge/ring and rifling begins.
