Anyone get one yet? How does it shoot? Would this be a better bargain over a LTR? Let's hear some range reports please!!!
 
I looked at it but it seem 400$ higher than the LTR. For 400$ you get stainless and 5r rifling as I understand. Is theses things are worth 400$, personally I don't know.
 
The 5R G2 is also cerakoted so the price difference is reasonable. I would imagine they shoot every bit as good as the uglier 5R's with no finish i.e. very good for a factory rifle.
 
Also comes in a H.S. Precision stock, threaded barrel and a bolt knob conversion is already done on it. Totally worth it, in my opinion.
 
I have one in .300 win mag. I think it shoots great and is very accurate out of the box. That said I'm still in the process of load development. I installed a Pecision Armament M11 brake on it as well. Scope is a Bushnell XRS with Badger rings and rail. Pretty happy with the set-up. The fluting defiantly helps with cooling during range sessions.
