Haven't seen that much for .22 revolvers. Looking for something to shoot cheaply even though I know the gun probably won't be cheap. What are my options?

Look for a good trigger. I know most Rugers have a 20lb gritty double action. That why so many are up for sale. Smiths are better. Not sure about others. I much prefer my Ruger Mark 3 semi auto.

I carried a H Schmidt for a few years when I lived in Michigan, for no other reason than it was gifted to me by my Dad. I wore it everywhere. Even Canada, turns out when a small city police officer sees it on your belt in SW Ontario, they are less than impressed. I learned a lot about Canadian firearm laws that day.

There's one on an auction site in Ft Erie On. I've been eyeing its only at $300 now. Be nice to have a Colt in the safe and doubt I'd justify a snake series right now.
I had a Ruger Sp 101 super accurate and ran great. Only downside was the tiny factory grips

Have had a Colt Officers Model for over 50 years. Still shoots great. One thing about .22s, A well made one will outlast you if not abused. Stay away from the cheap zhit.

I had a Colt Officers Model Match. Didn't find it anything to write home about and sold it. My Smiths (17 and 617) work just fine for me.

i have 2 of those and im surprised you carried that gun, ive always found it...... less than ideal.

Recently I bought a Chiappa SAA 1873 en 22 LR with a 5.5" barrell, espec ially as a shooting session warm-up revolver.
And I'm happy with that choice, kinda plinking revolver.
