Lee Enfields should we import them? westrifle.com

no thanks, I grew up with them, Owned a Wack of them over the years. Very expensive ammo now. All the cheap army surplus dryed up years ago. Plus theres tons of these things in Canada at really good prices. my 2 cents.

I reload and don't care if there's no cheap ammo available. It definitely doesn't make them "barely worth owning" as most rifles sold today don't have cheap ammo available.

+1.Reloading is the way to go with most milsurp. That way you can shoot cast and also tune the ammo to the rifle.

Didn't John from Marstar try a similar stunt recently? I see that that went well...............
If you could be a LITTLE MORE FORTHCOMING with the information about these , it would make the thread go smoother. Right now, you are asking people "what would you pay for a car?" but you don't say what kind of car, what options it has, how many miles it has. So , no one in their right mind will give you an estimate of "how much should I ask?" when we don't know if they are sportered, unsportered, low/high miles, country of origin (where it was made, not where you are buying them from)
So really, this thread is useless without at least SOME INFO. John from Marstar also gave himself a backdoor on a poorly described gun threatening to sell to the Americans.

^^ This!

They would have to be all original, matching and condition is everything. As with everything in the market pricing is the key.

I can not reveal the price yet because I don't know if I can drop it down.

As has been noted, fishing is a fast way to ruin your reputation. Threatening isn't going to make many friends either.

FWIW, there are South Asian No.4 rifles that have a crosspin through the stock. The so-called Ishapore Pin will take away value in a heartbeat. Other than that, good complete matching number rifles, especially with numbered magazines will always sell in Canada. Premiums paid for Long Branches.

If admitting they would be HIGH PRICED, how much of a demand is there? Need more info before we can say yay or nay.

Could these possibly be from the recent announcement by the Canadian Government on Sept.2/2016, to replace 6,800 of the aging Lee-Enfield MK4 of the 'Canadian Rangers'? with Finland’s Sako Tikka .308?
