I tend to just jump in and reload, or gun clean, or clean up brass whenever the mood or moment strikes me, or I have time between other stuff going on.

Typically it's wearing clothes that I don't want to get gun oil, or gunge from my guns on. So I've been grabbing my BBQing chefs jacket that the kids bought me on fathers day, but it's getting pretty grungy with gun oil and the black stuff that comes out when cleaning guns.

I'm contemplating buying a lab coat, or some other kind of smock.

Now I'm sure a few of you will say you are so precise that you never get anything on you, but that isn't me! haha! Anything I am working on usually ends up all over me.

So, just wondering what you guys that are like me in that way, use to protect your clothes, and any suggestions for what to buy or use.

I've got a lot of old work jeans, T shirts and sweatshirts that aren't even fit to wear to Walmart, but do just fine for gun cleaning.
Once I've got a washing machine loads worth, I take them to the laundromat to wash and dry.
And save those used Bounce sheets for the tumbler. I collect other peoples too, when they're left in the dryers.

Silver jeans. The brand not actual silver or colored jeans and a tshirt usually a custom printed one. That's what I wear everyday basically.

Ironically most of my female friends think g96 is a great smelling cologne. Wife loves it to so I can clean my guns in any room of the house. Hoppes #9 has to stay in my gun room though

I never changes out of what I'm wearing at the time to clean my rifles or to reload but when depriming, trimming brass, champhering, and deburing I'll wear the blue latex gloves. Can't ever recall getting anything on my clothes that won't easily wash out even if it were to happen.
