what do you wear when reloading and gun (and/or) brass cleaning?

Depends, if I'm on a rush I'll start in my work clothes (dress clothes). When it starts to get warm, shorts and a "beater", cold sweater and sweatpants. I reload in my garage, so pretty weather dependent.

For cleaning just grab a smock from Salvation army or goodwill. Reloading just work clothes. My betterhalf says the dirt just jumps out and lands on me too.

Those come standard the lee loadmaster kit. But you still need to use the primer blast shield too. Lol.

I won't be using that kit ^^ I will be using the Lee Loader kits where you use a hammer for everything! I will probably forget to put in the primer
first before powder and bullet, at which point I might try to gently tap in the primer. So that bomb suit will come in handy if I can get one for $50.

Thanks. Yah, I think I'll pick up an old lab coat or smock from whatever surplus store I run across. Doesn't seem to be any improved ideas on that.

Some regular comedians here, but a couple of good suggestions too.
Having spent years in working in polyethylene research, I tend to err on the side of safety gear when dealing with any chemical substances, as it isn't about a few simple exposures, more of a concern on chronic exposure. I do try to wear nitrile gloves while cleaning guns or working with used brass.

After many stern talkings to from my wife about stains on my clothing, I have purchased a good canvas apron. Now there is peace and harmony in my home.
