The best LAR 10 mags are the early ones imported by Quester. The finish is not durable, but functioning is the best.
I haven't used any plastic 10 rounders, but I was at a match and watched someone struggling with a plastic ones ( not sure who make it is, there are so many of these. It is a very very very short one). He bought it off a store just before the match and had some issues with a TAVOR. Could be user error because these mags are so short it is difficult to manipulate.
This brings it to the point that with metal LAR mags, you can use GSDesign's plastic extension to make it almost like a 30 rounder in size and shape. I consider that to be very important for training purpose and it is essential for use with regular gear. Extension for plastic mag is difficult to make because it needs to be hollow all the way. The baseplate is depending on the magazine spring to push down on the detent to lock up the base plate. Almost all plastic mags work like this. Also, the baseplate guiding rail on the mag body is always on the outside, so any exertion will be to much thicker than the body.
magpul anti-tilt follower...........where do you get these

+1 for Questar. Bought mine at 180 for 10 couple years ago.
The gray/silver lar15 magazines worked very good from Day 1. I have changed their followers for magpul anti-tilt, but never had a feeding issue with them, its just something I do to all my "other than pmags" magazines.
Any more kudos for the current ATRS mags? I like the extra size to make them easy to change, LAR mags are really small...
Have 4 ATRS(bought 2 months ago) all feed well but only 1 locks the bolt back every time. 1 Some of the time and the other 2 have never locked the bolt back. Not sure if this has something to do with my AR since I built it from the ground up and have no issues with any PMag or C-Products mag I have used in it.
I do love the size of them and have just started to get into the habit of just counting my shots.
We have sold thousands of these magazines since we started selling ASC. I could count the amount of mags we've had sent back to us on one hand.
