Will I get another tag in the mail ?, my other tag says bows only on it

Yes you get another tag that allows you to hunt in the controlled hunt but it does not mean you get another deer seal. So if you shoot one with a bow before gun season you need to call MNR or service ontario and find out if there are additional seals available. If there arent your can hunt with a group but you cant use a seal on a deer.

Deer seals go on sale on the 17th for the controlled hunt, you will receive a ticket allowing you to hunt but if you don't have an original deer licence with seal, you will have to buy one.

Im early hunt in 87D, so from what you say, I can use my seal the MNR mailed last month when I was drawn successfully in the bows only hunt ?, or I can buy another seal and take one with a bow and one with a shot gun ?, if additional seals are available.

I heard a scary rumour that 89b might be buck only controlled hunt.

The seal you got is what you use. You will be mailed another slip that allows you into the controlled hunt" it's best to bring with you if ever stopped by MNR.

No additional tags in our area 87D even more the gun hunt, it's one tag per Hunter. Good luck

Good to go for the December hunt in 90A. Not really a big surprise seeing as we're pretty much guaranteed our antlerless tags and controlled validation every season.

Got my Controlled Deer Hunt Validation Tag in the mail today.
It clearly reads
Valid for Antlered or Antler less Deer in WMU 76A from Nov.07 to Nov.11
One other guy in our group got his and it reads Antlered Only.
Strange.
