I have been thinking of selling A Long Branch C No7 .22. It appears to be mint and unfired but haven't decided what price to put on it.
There is only one very small mark on it and that's it.
Its comes with .22 Long Branch transit case (not matching) with a cleaning rod and attachments, and a new Canadian sling.

Sounds like a highly desirable, collectible piece you have there. I've always wanted one of those trainers, but no room in the collection for expensive wall hangers unfortunately. If condition is what it sounds like and it has it's original crate, CODFan's estimate is likely spot on. However, how fast it sells will depend on who's looking at the time. I'd like to see some photos too, they'd likely prompt me to buy a lottery ticket. :)
 
Deep down I was hoping someone could give me a reason to keep it.
In my 40 years of collecting Lee-Enfield's I have never found another No7 in this condition.
I have had many No7's, the three different No7 receiver markings and the British No7 repeater.

Hi albayo~were you hoping the value would be lower? (meaning no incentive TO sell?) If ever there was a rifle I'd love to own TO display, I think this would be it, for me. As a collector, I suspect it will increase in value beyond what it is, but to how much...and when~anyone's guess. From what I understand, and I'm certainly no authority, LE's of every kind have increased greatly in the last 20 years but there comes a point where the desire to own just fades with certain guns. If you're not wanting to sell to help finance another purchase, again, maybe no incentive to sell.

Were I in a position to make an offer...believe me...I would. But, since I can't..I think I take back my request to see some photos. lol

Sounds like a keeper. If you have no reason to sell, like kids, food, shelter, keep it and enjoy, pics would still be nice.
 
If you need the $$, sure , sell it.

If you don't really need the $$... I'd keep it. Otherwise think how hard it would be to get another one as nice as yours...
(pictures would be fun)

I'd love to get my hand on one reasonably priced. The No7 was the first rifle I shot on-score!
 
Unless you need the cash, whats the reason for selling? I've sold a gun before, and regret it every day. These beauties are hard to replace, and don't loose value. I am willing to bet that you will regret selling it within a few minutes of shipping. Obviously you got a good deal on it, so there is a plus for you as well.

I would agree- sounds like it's irreplaceable.

Yeah that would be staying put at my place, and I'm not even an enfield collector, she's a beauty :)

I'm curious to see a pic of the rifle inside the shipping container.
