I dont know why....I have two model 75's one with and one without the bolt lock.. I like the bolt lock.Bolt lock? If so, subtract $100

The bolt lock is ugly, and unnecessary (not to mention just another thing to fail or ruin a hunt) - and is expensive to get rid of. There is a reason sako ditched it....
I transport firearms with locks...the Sako bolt lock is infinitely less 'ugly' than a trigger lock or a cable lock. And even without the comparison...I do not find them to influence the aesthetics of the rifle one way or the other. Contrary to what some people say they have experienced...mine hasnt failed or malfunctioned nor does it change the functional operation of the rifle in any perceptible way (compared to my non bolt lock 75)...and while the next question is 'what if you lose the key'...then I have a long walk home because its on my car keys. I also have a several spares and the key number recorded because the good folks at Abloy can produce a key pretty quick for one if the code is provided..if you are familiar with Abloy locks you will understand they are a quality product (not available from home depot etc).. I certainly understand that people dont like them but I sure dont understand why..maybe because they think they are of the same quality found on remingtons?.? ('Jlocks??) they are not.

Some people get it, others don't.
I would LOVE to have a 6.5x55 in a Sako m75ss
My brother has one in a edge. Nice rifle for sure.
Did you have to bring up THAT one?
That was the first 75 I owned........:=(
