Mossberg 930 JM PRO VS Versamax Tactical.

One is $900, the other is $1400. The JM pro has random feeding or extraction issues it seems, is hard to get in Canada. The issues the JM pro experiences can be fixed if your willing to spend time with it. The versa max is good and made even better by Tactical ordnance who is a site sponsor.

Both are 3" I believe. I wanted the JM pro pretty badly until I read about all the issues. I went the route of the Stoger Mk3 and so far so good.

Depends what you want to use it for also.

The Mossberg 930 JM is about $900 CDN right now from Irunguns.
To my knowledge; They're the only place selling them to anyone in Canada.

Cabelas is selling the Versamax right now for $900.

So the price is exactly the same.

Both are fine guns for competition use. And both have plenty of aftermarket upgrades available too.

He said Versa Tactical, not the hunting version. Btw, you're allowed to hotlink here at CGN

Neither of those links are hotlinks.

And the gun I posted is the one most often used as a competition gun in Canada.
Nobody uses the "tactical" version of the Versamax.

Oh I wasn't aware of that. Makes sense as it has the 3.5" chamber. The barrel is a little long though.

I have seen plenty of shooters using the Tactical Version in 3 gun competitions. I have the JM Pro and it has run flawless, so far anyway.
