Unique insurance can protect gun owners against frivolous charges

Very cool.... but A little late to the party.

I've had both legal defence insurance and free legal advice with my CCFR membership for about a year now.

It's available nationwide as an add on to a regular membership.

Best!

Has anyone bought this recently who is a CSSA Member? What do we put in "there" for our $10 discount? Thnx

A gross oversimplification

Right. Well, when I called to cancel, I cited this and they agreed. They said they decide which cases to cover and which not to. It isn't like auto insurance. Could you imagine if auto insurance said because you willfully changed lanes not in safety and caused the accident, we aren't going to cover the damages as it is your fault.

Their fine brochure offers a lot of feel good, but their fine print does not.

I can think of countless acts that are 'willful' that may not be covered. Until they amend their fine print to cover all firearms related offences minus the obvious like those involving violence such as robbery or assault, I will pass. No guarentee = no money from me.

wow, took less than 2 minutes to apply and pay.

After that other thread of the guy being charged with 2x possession of prohibited for BEO .50 mags this insurance is a no-brainer.

Funnily enough, the insurance is offered out of my home city of Kelowna, BC. Man, I miss that weather.

If anyone needs the code it's CSSA001. Thnx google! ywc.

Purchased. My concern is the misinterpretation of mag capacity and FA Act ignorant LEOs. The code for the NFA is: NFA001

I am a member through my club. My suggestion to people who do not belong to a club would be to NOT use these codes. If insurance companies want an out...and they all do on occasion...lying to save $10 could forfeit your coverage. Just sayin.
