so, I pulled apart my ruger 22/45..and like so many others was having a b*tch of a time trying to get it back together. finally did, but then thought about blasting the lower end with more cleaner as it still felt gritty. couldn't get the damn thing to open up, so I punch out the hammer pin and it came apart after that. That's when things went from stupid to worse, somehow another pin decided it wanted to walk itself out and straight down the drain of the sink. 1940's house, no traps...ya, she's gone for good
anyone know a good smith in the Niagara region who can hook me up? or maybe even someone who might be able to supply a whole new lower??
cheers!!
