I love these for the 500 magnum. What weight of bullet are y'all casting? I'm trying to hunt down a mold so I can start. Post your pics of the projectiles and rolled bullets!!

I love them too, they are my go too bullet for the 500, mine usually come out to 400gr. Good news, NOE has stock!!! http://noebulletmolds.com/NV/product_info.php?cPath=43_132&products_id=608

Don't have any pics with loaded spire points but here are some PC and lube/checked.

not a bad price on the mold either.

how about posting some load data up on here too or references to some load data. i've got the noe mold for multi grain bullets but can't find load data.

omg.. what are those hollow points at the back?

they are cast from the 600gr and 700gr mihec molds, the 700gr round hollow point can almost swallow up a 22lr lol. in the second picture below the 600gr mold is number 6(solid) and 7(penta HP), then the 700gr mold is 8(penta HP), 9(round HP), 10(solid).

i've loaded up to 39gr of h110/w296 for the spire points seated to the crimp groove but its to hot and the brass sticks in the cylinders, i've downsized to 37gr. I've also used AA1680 up to 41gr for the 400gr spire point but it's been a while and i don't remember the results, the brass didn't stick in the cylinder though. I've done 40gr of AA5744 but it had a few un burnt kernels of powder. I need to record things better and try more 5744,1680 in the 500. i maxed out at 35gr of lil gun for the spire point (400gr). i have several more (imr4227, SR 4759, trailboss, tightgroup, 2400, IMR 4198) but i need to make a nice excel file for them.

Does it make the bullets in the picture below? (number 3,4,5) as for load data i just use the closet bullet weight on the heavier side and work up a load. also don't load hot loads with the smallest bullet as the recoil rips the bullets out of the brass regardless of the crimp you have on it. i've also had squibs because there wasn't enough pressure to ignite the h110/w296.

Nice.. Gas checking your PC's or they good without?

i haven't noticed any issues with a full charge of h110/w296 with the powder coated spire points without gas checks so i haven't bothered.

And another ####o picture i forgot about :)

Just use what ever load info for a 500gr bullet, but i wouldn't use full house loads with that bullet because there isn't enough base on the bullet. This is the mold i have.
